Fall has arrived!

Yeah- fall has finally arrived! It is a beautiful and cool weathered day! We are so thankful for a break from the heat.
My plans are to go back and catch up from the summer, at least list our activities with some pictures that kept us so very busy.
This past weekend was also fun filled. On Thursday evening, Camille, Parker and I traveled to Cleburne to watch Madi play volleyball with the A team. Nana and Dada were there to support the team, buy nachos for all, and get their daughter in the game- due to lack of cash. After the game we ate dinner with our new buddies, the Fairchild family at Wendy's. It was a comedy of errors with 6 very tired children. We were glad to get home and in bed by 9:15pm. On Friday evening, Camille and Dad drove to Dallas to see SMU play TCU. Dad gave Camille 10 dollars to go buy cotton candy, and she did not know what to do with the left over money- so she made the executive decision to buy some mint choc chip ice cream for dad. In the end, I think she had to eat both treats.
Parker, Madi and I went to dinner and the park with Mrs. Treat and Samuel. Parker loves Samuel so very much. He sits as close as possible and puts his arm around him with we walk. Samuel is such a special young man and I am thankful that he and Parker can be such good friends.
On Saturday morning, It began raining/flooding until about noon. Madi had a volleyball tournament at the middle school all day long. It was a long hard day- with only one win. Parker and Camille attended at birthday party for Skylar at Chuck E Cheese. That is right up their alley! On Sunday, we attended church together, home, haircut for mom, and party preparations.
We celebrated Camille's 8th birthday we Queen Caroline, Katilynn, Sydney, Erin, and Gretchen. Josephine came to hang with Madi. Parker was the lone male-- and loved it! We painted pottery, then created our own personal pizza, then decorated cupcakes and drank pink lemonade. I think everyone had a great time. I shared with Camille at bedtime how thankful we are to have such special friends that love us.
Now it is Monday, Madi had before school practice for volleyball. I hope we can all get home by 4:30 and play outside in the cool weather...
