Yesterday-- January 16, I turned 41. I got to sleep in, Larry made cinnamon toast and my favorite Mexican hot chocolate for breakfast, then lunch with mom and Uncle Dave at On the Border, and then pedicures with my good buddy Renee. Last week, Larry took me to dinner at Mi Cocina, the cupcakery for dessert, and then to a Suzy Boggus concert. It was an amazing fun time out with my dear husband.
Today, is actually a teacher workday. However, I had a little comp time to use, so we headed to the the Fort Worth Zoo. Nana was our guide, me and the three kiddos. Now the sun is shining so brilliant, but the cold is still there. This means, we are the only people at the zoo. Truly, we saw possibly 10 other people there. So we were able to enjoy every living thing at our leisure. The new MOLA exhibit was incredible. Every big and little snake was studied. It was a great day-- just a little cool. Then we headed to the new In and Out Burger downtown. This was a first for us (except Camille). It was yummy and enjoyed by our very hungry troops. It was a great day for the family with Nana.
Dad has started working on a little trip to Disney for us this summer. This should keep him out of trouble for a few days at least. He loves to research and find the very best things for us to do. It will be fun to take Camille-- who has not been since she was 13 months old, and Parker has not been at all. So-- there will be memories for Madi and new memories for the other two.
