As I post these pictures on the 14th of May, my Motiviation for Mom's box says "visit relatives often to show children the value of relationships." I thought this was so appropriate after our family get-together. Maybe next month I can get pictures of the mother's on Father's Day, since I got pictures of father's on Mother's Day.
Well, last Friday was my last "day off" planned to use up some of my accumulated days. I piddled around the house, had lunch with Larry at Applebee's, went to the movies alone, got my nails done, picked up Madi and Jo, took Madi dress shopping and home to cook tacos by 6:30. On Saturday morning, Madi had to be at school to go to solo & ensemble for the day. She got 4 first division metals. She did great!! The rest of us headed to Belton to see Ashli graduate from UMHB. She is headed to med school this fall. Ash has worked so very hard and she will make a great doctor! We are all so very proud of her. For Mother's Day, I took 2 naps and had lunch at Rosa's. It was a fairly slow day. That evening we did go over to Dave and Mattie's for swimming, pizza, and baby cuddling. Lee's gang was there and Mom and Dad had come from the farm. It was great to be all together.
The count down is on. Less than 4 weeks of school left. I am still waiting to hear about other possible job opportunities. The waiting and not knowing is the hardest part.
