It is March the 4th and we officially have 6 more work days until we are out for spring break 2010! The Williams family will be headed to Branson Missouri compliments of our fearless leader, Larry-aka: dad- who has planned 7 days of activities for our family.
Since my last blog...
Madeleine has started another season of soccer. She has also participated in "Susan Huston's Fun Girl class. She has learned about walking like a model, taking some pictures, etiquette, and manners. We have driven over to HEB to the mall for these 4 classes and then in April, she will have a style show. Last weekend, Madi got to go to the Great Wolf Lodge with the Girl Scouts- and loved it! (This is her 3 trip there. Twice we have gone as a family.) This week on Tuesday evening, she got to be a Ball Girl for the Lady Horn Frogs last game. She had a great time with Larry. Madi got to throw balls and see a girl get a broken nose-- some really cool stuff! This weekend we should have her first soccer game and last model class. Her science fair project was great. She worked really hard on it and was asked to spend all day Saturday showing it to the judges. School is going great. We are preparing to try out for 7th grade band- she wants to play percussion! That would be awesome!
Camille is continuing her gymnastics. She loves school and possibly will be tested for GATE this spring. She did an awesome project of the planets for her class- along with the GATE kids. It was a great board and painting of Venus.
Parker is learning his letters and sounding out words. He has been sick these last few days with cough and congestion. We continue to love Mrs. Lisa- his teacher. It is amazing all the things that Parker learns at school. One funny thing... Parker loves to "sniff" Mrs. Christi. She wears some wonderful smelling perfume- and each day (now with permission) he gives her a good sniff!
Uncle David and Aunt Mattie provided us tickets to see the last night of the Rodeo. It was great fun! We had time to eat, see the exhibit hall, and see the rodeo from box seats. Camille- loves the food, Madi enjoys the shopping and Parker loves the Cowboys! Good time for all!!
Larry has also purchased season tickets for the TCU baseball games. The children take turns going with dad to a game- and they love it! They have some new t-shirts, there is a huge hill to run/slide down, and even a few autographs. They have really loved their one on one time with dad watching the Horned Frogs! ( I bought myself a WT alumni shirt to wear-- I must represent my school, too. It is just too far to visit at this time.)
Camille and Madi have both finished up Girl Scout cookie sales. I am glad that is over! We worked pretty hard. I think Madi sold close to 300 and Camille probably sold about 75 boxes.
February 2, we all got a H1N1 shot for free. I had hesitated about doing this, but decided it probably was best. The kids got sprays up their nose. They did not like it - but it meant no shot. Parker was the fearful one this time. Thankfully, none of us have been sick with the swine flu.
Camille and Madi have both been participating in Wed night at church. Camille goes to AWANAs with her friend Erin and Madi has been going to "Uplink" with her age group. I am thankful that they both are excited to be at church with friends learning about Jesus. Madi has even taken her friend, Britlin, to church for a few activities. One Friday night they played BUNCO with the group-- loved it!!
This next week, Madi and I will go to Dallas and see Taylor Swift in concert. It should be awesome!
I am heading up the Biggest Loser contest at school. I have approx 40 staff members participating and we have lost a total of 320 pounds! Isn't that incredible! Everyone is so excited and it is great motivation for me!
The baby goats have starting coming at the farm. Mom and Dad are busy delivering them and setting them up with special goat LDRPs. That is Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum and we should include N for Nursery.
Tomorrow is Friday-- yeah!!
I am thankful for so many blessings!
