Well, it has been a while since I have sat down to write. After August got started, things started moving so fast that there was little time to sit and write. My camera had been broken so I have very few pictures.
We made a fast and furious trip to Georgia. It was a really great trip. Our first night we stayed in Meridian Mississippi- there was a pool and really great room. Then on to Midville. Grandma Green seemed to be doing well, PaPa Williams was well, and Uncle Tee was getting a little stronger before starting more chemo for cancer. Madi and I were able to shop with Grandma one day. Parker absolutely loved riding in PaPa's red truck with the windows down. One day we went into Augusta to see the Children's museum- and we always enjoy that. We headed home on Saturday, again stayed overnight in Meridian, and were home to for mom and dad to start school on Monday. After a week of inservice, Camille was ready to start kindergarten with Mrs. Lockerd and Madi was ready to start her 6th grade year at Harmony. Parker will have Mrs. Lisa this year and we are thrilled! Cam loved Mrs. Lisa and was reading by the end of the preschool year.
Here are a few pics of getting school started..
This holiday weekend- September 6, 09- we have rested, went to church with the neighbors for Brett and Brenden's baby dedication, lunch at Rosa's and swimming. Tonight Cam and Par are with NaNa and Dada, Madi is having Brittlyn over for a sleepover and tomorrow we will celebrate Lee's birthday.
Yesterday I was able to go and meet my girlfriends, Amy and Melissa for breakfast. They were my college roommates and will always be most special friends to me. Even if Mel does move across the ocean to Kotar.
