Well we made it through another wonderful school year! Madi did awesome as a 7th grader in band and athletics. Camille did great as a 2nd grader with Mrs. Regan and playing basketball. And Parker graduated from kindergarten with Ms. Laughlin and 2 seasons of soccer. The not so-happy news includes me being let go as a nurse due to budget cuts in the school system and Larry being reassigned back into the classroom. Thankfully, we finished on a great note after staying until Friday night at 7pm and summer has officially started.
We kicked off Saturday with a double birthday party for Cam and Par to attend for friends-Madison and Parker. Madi went to a swim party and sleep over. Then to another party for end of the year. On Sunday- we have rested, cleaned a bit, napped, and did a little evening swimming. Our plans this week include heading to Georgia- but once again we are waiting on the van to be repaired so we can go.
This past week has been hard preparing for me to leave this job that I have loved so very much for 4 years. I have made the best friends ever and I have so loved the kids that I care for. This job has been such a blessing to my life and my families life- God has provided for me and He will continue to do so because I have faith in Him! So far, I have had rejection letters from Weatherford and Burleson--so I am anxiously waiting to see what is out there!
