December has arrived! I have got to get busy and catch up this blog. Things have somewhat slowed down. Soccer is finished at this time. So Madi and Parker are enjoying some rest. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. Camille was able to go to Granny's on Sunday and spend the week helping her get ready for Thursday. Camille got to see Fort Hood and Granny's office and send an email to her mom and dad. She and Gran got to have lunch with Ashli on the campus of UMHB and make "lightening" in the physics lab. On Wednesday, I finished up painting Camille's room a peaceful baby blue and added the furniture from my childhood. It is yellow with green flowers and looks great! Madi and I went to see "New Moon". I have not read these crazy vampire books- but the teens are crazy about Edward the vampire and his girlfriend Bella. We had fun and ate lunch while watching the movie. Then we headed to Belton for the holiday. There was about 23 family members present to eat the yummy feast and play frontyard football. Everyone had a great time. On Friday morning- Madi, Gran and I got up at 4:45 and went shopping. It was fun-- but we sure were tired later that day.
Tomorrow Madi will have Saturday school at Harmony-- enough said about that. Then she and I will go to Girl Scouts for a sleepover and I will be teaching CPR.
And after school today, Madi, Camille, and I will be making glass fusion ornaments here at school. It should be a fun girl project to do together.
We had some snow 2 days ago on the way to school. We were hopeful for more today- but no luck.
And-- Larry and I did celebrate 14 years of marriage on Wednesday. Mom and Dad came and sat with the kiddos. Larry and I had a wonderful dinner at Outback. We have so much to be thankful for!!
